Final Predictions
This is it folks. The moment we've all been waiting for. It has been almost two months in the making, the culmination of a lot of hard work, coordination and perseverance put in by these two finalists. You can bet your last roll of toilet paper during a diarrhea episode that this will be one special night. To the teams -- GLHF, enjoy, play hard and show no mercy >:] To the rest of the community -- if there's any trace of iCTF in your blood, you will want to tune in to our GTV and Shoutcast broadcasts. iCTF history will be written on this night.

onDRUGS! (6-1) vs .... (6-1)

Not many people would've predicted RAWR being eliminated by onDRUGS! in the semifinals on Sunday (present author a notable exception:P) . Indeed, it was a very close fought battle, from the very first minute of wcp1 until the very last minute of OT on wxs1 (33rd to be exact!), onDRUGS! just barely edging out RAWR by a final score of 4 to 3 on that map. The remaining spot in the tournament final was just as hotly contested on Monday night. All three maps from this match were end-to-end action, with more heart-stopping moments than in any previous match in the entire tournament (probably the most "holy shit" kills and saves recorded so far). You owe it to yourself to download and watch these demos if you happened to miss our GTV broadcast last night. Congrats to .... for pulling out an extremely difficult victory, and many thanks to =6= for providing some of the most memorable moments of the tournament's knockout stages. Also worth mentioning was the turnout for both semifinals, all four teams showing their entire squads for these matches (the tournament organizers are proud of you :P).

Almost forgot: FRAGGED BY GIZERMONEYRAWR !!!
Hehe, I promised I'd do it, sorry Def :D

On to the final prediction. This is not going to be an easy task by any stretch of the imagination lol. Both these teams have identical tournament records, finishing 1-2 atop of what was arguably the tougher conference in the tournament. Arny's only loss was a forfeit halfway through the season -- they have yet to be beaten in the arena. Def's team is on a 5-game winning streak. F*** it, I'm just gonna flip a coin for this one rofl :D Joking aside, .... did manage to inflict onDRUGS!'s only loss of the tournament, in an entertaining Week 2 match some five weeks ago. They were particularly convincing in that match's tiebreaker map, winning wcp3 8 to 1 with an amazing display of teamwork and team cohesiveness. I really liked what I saw from Arny's team that night, but we all know this is quake and that was just one map on one night. Sure enough, onDRUGS! did manage to take that match's 2nd map quite comfortably themselves. If I were to give this prediction based on squad depth, I would give it to .... . Momentum and confidence level, I'd give it to onDRUGS!. Teamwork, to .... . Skill, dead even. Take your pick lol. I am going with .... in three maps.

.... > onDRUGS! 2-1

GL to all the players and if you aren't already motivated enough, remember, there's a Quake 4 t-shirt to be awarded equally among the six of you when this is all over.
